Nigerian fashion entrepreneur Kayode Alfred has announced the expansion of his brand, Aristocrat Clothing, with the opening of a new flagship store in Lagos. The move is aimed at repositioning Nigeria’s luxury fashion industry and promoting locally made, world-class designs.

In a statement released ahead of the launch, Alfred said the new outlet marks a shift away from reliance on imported fashion labels to high-end, made-in-Nigeria craftsmanship. The flagship store is located at Ogunusi, Ojodu, Lagos, and will officially open on Sunday, September 13, 2026.

According to Alfred, the Ojodu store was designed to combine precise tailoring with modern sophistication for both men and women. He said the goal is to create clothing that reflects Nigerian identity while meeting international standards of luxury and quality.

The chief executive explained that Aristocrat Clothing is focused on moving the industry from mass-produced fashion to bespoke pieces that emphasize individuality and character. He noted that the timing of the launch aligns with growing demand for premium Nigerian fashion as more consumers choose homegrown designers over foreign brands.

Alfred said style goes beyond clothing and represents identity, confidence, and personal expression. He described the new store as more than a retail space, calling it the home of the Aristocrat experience and a platform to show that Nigerian brands can compete in the global luxury market.

He added that Aristocrat Clothing will continue to promote values of class, confidence, and timeless style as it establishes its place in Nigeria’s evolving luxury fashion landscape.

The opening of the flagship is expected to create more visibility for Nigerian tailoring and contribute to the growth of the local fashion economy.
