The President left on Sunday, August 30, 2026, with his first stop scheduled in London, United Kingdom, according to a statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy.

Purpose of the Trip

Onanuga described the trip as part of the President’s annual leave. While in Europe, President Tinubu is expected to use the period as a “working vacation.”
