Senator Adeola Yayi Returns to Ogun, Vows to Push Development Ahead of 2027

Political activities in Ogun State are picking up again with the return of Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, popularly known as Yayi.

The Senator representing Ogun West and Chairman of the Senate Committee on Appropriations returned on Sunday after a brief vacation. He said the break did not affect his commitment to the people of the state.

In a message to residents, Yayi appreciated supporters for keeping up the momentum while he was away.

Good morning to all the good people of Ogun State. Good to be back after a brief vacation. Appreciation to all supporters for keeping the flag flying higher even in my brief absence, he said.

He also announced his return with the words, The Eagle has landed, signaling that he is back to continue his work of representation.

Yayi said his focus remains on effective representation, development, and supporting the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Speaking in his usual style, he added, Omo Ogun Iseya ooo. 2027 is around the corner. We are ready to take Ogun to greater heights.

The comment comes as stakeholders across Ogun State begin early positioning ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Supporters say the statement is a sign of readiness to continue ongoing political and developmental efforts in the state.

With the countdown to 2027 underway, Yayi’s return is expected to increase his engagements with constituents and other stakeholders across Ogun State.

The message from the Senator is that work continues and the goal of taking Ogun State to greater heights remains a priority.
