CJPAN Celebrates Gov. Babajide Sanwo-Olu @ 60 | Prestige News
Celebrity Journal Publishers Association of Nigeria (CJPAN) has joined other eminent Nigerians to celebrate our hard-working governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo Olu as he celebrates 60th birthday which is typically called a diamond jubilee.
This was made known by the President of Notable Association (CJPAN) Mrs.Funmi Olowosegun, in an emergency meeting of the association on Tuesday.
According to her, June 25th is the day Governor Babajide Sanwo Olu was born and is a significant milestone in the life of Gov. Sanwo-Olu as he clocked 60 today and will be celebrated with pomp and peagentry at Eko Hotel in Lagos
While wishing the governor more power and strength to stir the chip of Lagos to an enviable height.
Governor Sanwo-Olu, the sixth democratically elected governor of Lagos State, was born on June 25, 1965.
.He is a graduate of the University of Lagos, London Business School, Lagos Business School, and the John F. Kennedy School of Government. Before his gubernatorial ambition, he was the managing director and CEO of Lagos State Property Development Corporation (LSPDC) and as a three-time Commissioner across key ministries: Economic Planning and Budget; Commerce and Industry; and Establishments, Training, and Pensions..
Gov.Sanwo-olu has transformed Lagos State into a mega city, and under his tutelage, the GDP of Lagos has increased tremendously .
He began his political career under President Tinubu’s mentorship and lived up to expectations

In the same vein, President Tinubu has commended the Governor’s steadfast commitment to Lagos State’s growth and development on his occasion of birthday noting his alignment with the transformative master plan established during the President’s tenure as Governor (1999-2007).
“Your execution of this vision is exemplified by landmark achievements, including completing the Blue and Red Rail lines and the ongoing preparations for the Purple Line, which will serve the vital Lekki corridors.
He, however , urge him to sustain this trajectory by prioritising impactful projects for Lagosians, notably the long-awaited Fourth Mainland Bridge and the Freedom Way to Victoria Garden City (VGC) Road”, President Tinubu said.
The President concluded: “I also wish you continued good health, longevity, and many more years of invaluable service to Lagos
State and Nigeria.”
