Governor Ambode donates 120 generators to Lagos Police to enhance security operations

The Lagos State Government on Monday donated120 power generating sets to the state police command for its 107 divisions and 13 areas commands to enhance security operations.
Gov. Akinwunmi Ambode was represented at the event by Mr Oye Hassan-Odukale, Chairman, Lagos Sate Security Trust Fund (LSSTF).
The governor said at the presentation of the generators at the Lagos House, Ikeja, that security was a major agendum of the administration.
“We know the situation of security in our country today, and we, on our part, need to be proactive to secure the lives and property of the citizens, and make Lagos safe.
“We urge police officers to maintain these generating sets so that they can last longer and serve you well, ” he said.
