Ministers, Security Chiefs and Key Figures Gather in Lagos as Adron Boss EmmanuelKing Hosts 12th TMnews Summit | Prestige News
The 12th Annual TMnews Summit & Awards will hold on Sunday, October 19, 2025, at the Lagos Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, with the theme: “Securing the Future: A Collaborative Approach to Community Safety.”
The high profile event will bring together ministers, security chiefs, policymakers, industry leaders, and humanitarian advocates for dialogue, collaboration, and recognition of excellence. The Group Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Adron Groups, Aare Adetola EmmanuelKing, will serve as Chief Host, while the National President of ACOMORAN, Alhaji Samsudeen Apelogun, has been announced as Chairman of the Day.
Festivities will commence with a glamorous red carpet at 3 p.m., followed by a series of panel discussions, keynote addresses, and award presentations.
Dignitaries expected at the summit include the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, His Excellency Adegboyega Oyetola (CON); Minister of Interior, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo; Minister of Youth Development, Hon. Ayodele Olawande; Minister of Transportation, Hon. Sa’idu Alkali; and Minister of State for Health, Dr. Iziaq Adekunle Salako. Also confirmed are Barrister Seyi Tinubu, Founder of the Cityboy Movement; Hon. Adekunle Abdulkabir Akinlade (Triple-A); alongside security chiefs and other notable figures across public and private sectors.
Central to this year’s event will be robust discussions around the theme, exploring how government, security institutions, corporate bodies, and communities can collaborate to build a safer and more sustainable future.
The evening will also feature the TMnews Humanitarian Awards, where 20 distinguished individuals and organizations will be recognized for outstanding contributions to humanitarian service, corporate social responsibility, and social impact. Organizers note that the awards aim not only to celebrate excellence but also to inspire a culture of service and proactive community engagement.
