Winners emerge in Glo/Palmpay Recharge and Win Bonanza | Prestige News
Weeks into the commencement of the second edition of the “Recharge and Win Bonanza” put in place by Palmpay in conjunction with technology company, Globacom, winners have started emerging.
The promo targets Glo subscribers who recharge their lines from their Palmpay accounts. A joint statement from both Palmpay and Globacom had disclosed that “Customers who make Glo transactions through the PalmPay app will stand a chance to win prizes such as the iPhone 15 Pro, Infinix Hot 40, and many other exciting items”.
As promised, winners emerged from the draws for several gift items including Infinix Hot 40 and other exciting prizes. The winners include Basirat Mayowa Opatunji, a resident of Osogbo, Osun State, Wisdom Anayo Uzoma, Afeez Akanfe Muraina and Oyedikachi Herbert,
Winners outside Lagos will have the items dispatched to their locations for collection at Palmpays’ offices. Glo subscribers can log onto http://bit.ly/PalmPaySms to participate in the promo. The promotion, which began in June, will run till August 8th, 2025.
Every transaction above N500 gives participants an opportunity to be drawn for the various prizes on offer. A daily social media challenge also offers participants another chance to win cash prizes. PalmPay users also enjoy up to 6% cashback when they buy Glo airtime and data through the PalmPay app. As an added attraction, customers who have not subscribed to a Glo data plan in the last 90 days get to enjoy a 100% bonus on their recharge during the campaign period.
Speaking in reaction to her winning, Basirat Mayowa Opatunji expressed joy at winning the Infinix Hot 40 phone from the draws. Said she: “I have always been recharging my Glo line from the Palmpay app and even though I was often doing this, I never expected that I was going to win a brand new phone from Palmpay”.
Basirat, who is currently running a programme at the Ekiti State University at the Osun State College of Education, Ila Orangun study centre, said she would pick up her prize at Osogbo.
