WISTA Nigeria Celebrates Landmark Appointments of Female Maritime Leaders in Ghana and Nigeria | Prestige News

Lagos/Port Harcourt, Nigeria – June 28, 2025 – The Women’s International Shipping and Trading Association (WISTA) Nigeria proudly celebrates the historic appointments of two distinguished women leaders in the maritime industry: Madam Jemilat Mahamah as Chairman of the Board of the Ghana Maritime Authority and Ms. Iroghama Ogbeifun as a Board Member of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA).

Madam Mahamah’s appointment marks a pivotal moment for Ghana and the wider maritime community.
