Metropolix Media Honours Lolarshon As Most Innovative Female Entrepreneur Of The Year

It was an unforgettable Friday full of surprises for indefatigable fashion entrepreneur and lifestyle personality, Omolola Owogbile Shonowo, popularly known as Lolarshon.

What started as a routine business day for the CEO of Lolarshon’s Gourmet and convener of the prestigious Fashion Fusion ended in glamour and accolades as she received an August visitor in her office on Thursday, 25th September 2026.

The publisher of Metropolix Media Group, Mr. Johnson Adegboyega had earlier notified her of a brief visit, which she presumed was for a routine interview session. However, the meeting took a dramatic turn when the media guru unveiled a Metropolix Certificate of Commendation, naming her the Most Innovative Female Entrepreneur of the Year 2026

An overwhelmed Lolarshon could not hide her excitement.

“It was the biggest Ember surprise to me. I never expected Uncle Johnson was coming to present me an award when he called that he was in my office. In fact, I couldn’t hide my happiness and I deem it a privilege to have a popular journalist as big as Johnson Adegboyega come all by himself to present me an award,” she said with smiles.

While presenting the award, the Metropolix boss described Lolarshon as an enigma and a complete embodiment of womanhood.

“It is our annual Metropolix Honourary Visit. Every year we visit and honour selected Nigerians who have excellently distinguished themselves in their various fields. Lolarshon, in all ramifications, is an example of a complete woman. She combines the three Bs – Brain, Boldness and Beauty. She is an epitome of a virtuous woman. We reckon with her and this award is well deserved,” Adegboyega stated.

The double celebration did not end there. Same day, Lolarshon also bagged another prestigious recognition.

Elated, the fashion mogul expressed gratitude to her supporters and dedicated the awards to all women striving for excellence.

“It came as a surprise. Working hard on what you believe in is standard, but being recognized and awarded for it is one of the most rewarding feelings and flex.
