Agbu Kefas: The Colossus Elected To Birth A New Taraba State By Oluwatosin Alex ~ Prestige News

On Saturday, 18th Of March, 2023, The people of Taraba unanimously agreed that the state needs someone who has great potential to reward their several years of endurance, absorbing pains and hopelessness.
Just like the process of childbirth, the people have relentlessly tolerated agony, incessantly accepted distress with the hope of getting a new Taraba state delivered at the end of the day.
For eight years, they labored, they pushed but at every attempt, they got knocked-off, disappointed, frustrated, and unappeased. They cried but were never attended to, they b but were neglected. All through the years, the people of Taraba state labored but in vain.
To exteriorize the dream of a new Taraba state, a baton change process was set in place through a keenly contested governorship election. The state had been in its incubation stage for too long and was in dire need of someone with the strength, experience, wisdom, personality, courage, antecedents, and proven abilities to deliver a new Taraba state.
The people didn’t have to search for too long before making their choice. Among several others, the candidate of the PDP, Dr Agbu Kefas was exceptional. A colossus will always stand out among miniatures; Dr. Agbu Kefas was the giant on account of his strength, wide acceptance, past records, quantum leap, wisdom, smooth relationship with the people, leadership experience, charisma, administrative skills, to mention but a few.
Other candidates that contested in the election were not so bad but they were not any match for the colossus, Dr. Agbu Kefas. He has been a friend to the people of Taraba, lived with them for several years, knows where the shoe pinches and knows the solution to their problems.
Dr. Agbu Kefas retired from the Nigerian army after 21 years of service. Upon his retirement, he was appointed chairman Governing board of directors Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) between 2013 and 2015. He was also a member of the Presidential Committee on North-East Initiative from 2016 to 2019 before he fully joined politics by becoming the State Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party, Taraba State in 2020.
Dr. Agbu Kefas further confirmed his status as a colossus among miniatures by extending a hand of fellowship to other candidates that lost in the election. His message to them was that they need to join hands together with him to move Taraba state forward. Indeed, Dr. Agbu Kefas carries an anomalous emanation.
In preparation for his inauguration as the duly elected governor of Taraba state, Dr Agbu Kefas has been meeting with investors from different parts of the country for the purpose of bringing development to Taraba state. Many of the investors have agreed with him, seeing his excellent and achievable proposals.
Dr. Agbu Kefas was out of the country for a few weeks for academic purposes but was never out of touch with his people. While abroad, He spoke with several investors that also keyed into his bargaining power.
Under Dr. Agbu Kefas’ administration, the potentials of Taraba state will come alive with the governor’s Midas touch. The internally generated revenue (IGF) is expected to aggrandize within a few months, the education sector will receive a major boost, employment rate is expected to increase rapidly, insecurity is projected to demean drastically, and several other amenities are scheduled to be realized.
With Dr. Agbu Kefas, the set time for the delivery of a new Taraba state has come.
Oluwatosin Alex is the acting SSA on Online Media to the Governor-elect, Dr. Agbu Kefas.
