Justice Binta Nyako said the hearing cannot continue as Kanu was not available to stand his trial.
Ifeanyi Ejiofor, Nnamdi Kanu’s lawyer, however, informed the court that there was a pending application before the court to transfer Kanu from the custody of the DSS to the correctional centre.
On that account, Nyako adjourned the trial while asking the DSS to produce the IPOB leader at the next hearing.
He is facing charges bordering on treasonable felony, terrorism and illegal possession of arms, among others.
