The Governor of Ekiti State, Kayode Fayemi has relaxed the 14 Day stay at home order in the State.
The Governor Says Citizens can now embark on normal activity from 6 to 2pm on Tuesday and Thursday, Giving residents opportunity to re-stock and do necessities
The Governor made this Disclosure while kick starting the Distribution of Relief Materials to Vulnerable people in the State.
Ekiti Food Bank has been active since 2012, during the first tenure of Kayode Fayemi. it was resuscitated in 2019, and Indigent People have been beneficiaries before now, But because of the Corona virus Pandemic and the resulting Lock-down, the Food Bank will be made available to the citizens of Ekiti state
The Governor while unveiling Food items for the use of Identified Vulnerable persons. He gave strict warnings to Politicians who might want to hijack the Food bank for distribution to Wards and Political Associates.
The Food items was received by the Chairman Association of Local Government of Nigeria who appreciates the gesture of the Government.
