Former Zamfara Governor, Minister, others stranded over APC membership

It appears there is a major crack in the Zamfara State chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, as the Committee for Registration and Revalidation of Membership has not attended to the former State Governor, Senator Ahmad Yerima.
Others whose membership is also yet to be revalidated are the current Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Sadiya Faruq and the former Defence Minister, Mansur Dan- Ali.
These high profile figures of the party were on ground, Saturday and Sunday expecting to be revalidated but the Committee for the exercise did not show up for reasons that are unclear.
The immediate past State Governor, Abdulaziz Yari, Senator Kabiru Marafa, Dauda Lawal and other starlwats of the APC in the State have however revalidated their membership of the party.
Senator Yerima is still waiting to see if the Committee will come for the revalidation of his membership of the party in the State.
It will be recalled that Senator Ahmad Yerima, Mansur Dan-Ali and Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development were not sighted at the meeting to broker peace between the two factions of the party in the State.
