Dangote Refinery IPO: How to Subscribe in Under 2 Minutes Through Fidelity Bank

Published

on

Fidelity Bank has launched a fast subscription process for investors who want to buy shares in the Dangote Petroleum Refinery IPO. The bank says eligible investors can complete their application in less than two minutes using its digital platforms.

The offer is open to existing Fidelity Bank customers, corporate organizations, and non-customers both in Nigeria and abroad. To make participation easier, the bank is providing four main channels for subscription.

Retail customers can subscribe directly through the Fidelity Bank mobile app available on iOS and Android devices. Corporate customers can use the bank’s corporate online banking platform. The process will follow the standard inputter and authorizer workflow required for corporate transactions.

For those who do not have a Fidelity Bank account, the bank has introduced a Virtual Account option. Non-customers can visit the Fidelity Bank website, generate a dedicated Virtual Account number, and fund their subscription from any operational bank account. This option also supports third-party funded subscriptions and removes the need to open a regular Fidelity Bank account before applying.

Investors who prefer physical banking can also visit any Fidelity Bank branch nationwide to complete their subscription. For support, the bank’s customer service team, Fidelity TrueServe, is available 24 hours daily. Investors can call 070034335489, send a WhatsApp message to 09030005252, or email trueserve@fidelitybank.ng.

To subscribe, investors will need to provide relevant identification and account details. Non-Fidelity Bank account holders will need a Bank Verification Number. Minors will need a National Identification Number. Existing Fidelity Bank customers should have an active account or online banking profile.

Fidelity Bank also noted that investors without a Central Securities Clearing System account can still participate. A CSCS account can be opened through Fidelity Securities Limited. This will allow allotted shares to be credited electronically after the allotment process is completed.

Once a subscription is authorized, the selected account will be debited or the Virtual Account will be funded depending on the channel used. The investor will then receive a confirmation message, transaction reference, and receipt as proof of application.

The bank said the initiative is part of its effort to increase access to Nigeria’s capital market by making investment processes simple, inclusive, and technology-driven.

Prospective investors are advised to read the approved Offer Prospectus before investing. The document contains details on eligibility, price, minimum subscription, permissible multiples, offer period, and other terms that guide the IPO.

With multiple digital and physical options, Fidelity Bank aims to ensure that both retail and institutional investors can take part in the Dangote Refinery IPO without delays.
