Dangote Refinery IPO 2026: How to Subscribe for Shares Using Zenith Bank
Nigerians living in Nigeria and in the diaspora can now subscribe to the Initial Public Offering of Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals through Zenith Bank. Zenith Bank is one of the receiving banks for the offer and also serves as an electronic application channel.
The subscription window opens on Monday, 14 September 2026 and will close on Tuesday, 13 October 2026. The process will run for 30 days.
According to the prospectus, each share is offered at ₦525. The minimum subscription is 10 shares, which amounts to ₦5,250. The offer is targeting ₦2.15 trillion, making it the largest equity offering in African history. Retail investors who subscribe and hold their shares may also qualify for bonus shares under the Retail Investor Incentive Programme, subject to regulatory approvals.
Zenith Bank has made the process available through multiple channels. Investors can apply via the Zenith Bank website, Zenith mobile app, internet banking, USSD, corporate internet banking, and at any Zenith Bank branch nationwide.
The bank has 456 branches and 84 cash centres across the country. This network is being used to support the IPO and give investors a secure and fast route to apply from anywhere in the world.
Each application is linked to the investor’s Bank Verification Number. The BVN serves as identity verification and security from submission to allotment.
Zenith Bank says it is leveraging its digital infrastructure for the offer. The bank’s most recent public offering was processed mainly through digital channels. That system has now been upgraded to handle retail investors with the same service level provided to corporate clients.
Within the transaction, Quantum Zenith Capital and Investments Limited is one of the joint issuing houses. Zenith Bank will receive and process applications through its electronic platforms.
For over three decades, Zenith Bank has positioned itself as a gateway to major financial offerings in Nigeria. For this Dangote Refinery offer, interested subscribers are to open or fund an existing Zenith Bank account and make payment through the bank’s electronic platforms before the offer closes on 13 October 2026.
The bank advises interested investors to read the details in the prospectus and to be guided by existing regulations. Independent professional advice may also be sought where necessary.
Zenith Bank is serving as a Receiving Bank and electronic application channel for the Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals IPO.
