Tunde Balogun emerges Lagos APC chairman

The Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has elected Mr Tunde Balogun as its new chairman.
Similarly, 45 other candidates were voted into the elective offices of the party on Saturday at the APC State Congress which took place at the party secretariat.
APC delegates in the state elected the officers by means of voice voting and affirmation of the candidates.
The congress was conducted by a committee led by the lawmaker representing Anambra Central district at the National Assembly, Senator Uche Ekwunife.
It had in attendance, Governor Akinwumi Ambode and his deputy, Dr Idiat Adebule, as well as APC stakeholders in the state.
The APC National Leader, former Governor Bola Tinubu, and the Minister for Works, Power and Housing, Mr Babatunde Fashola, were absent at the event.
