YARI ROMANCES SARAKI, DOGARA FOR SENATE PRESIDENCY……DEBUNK COURT APPEAL ORDER

The battle of wits to sustain the seat of power of the Nigerian Senate, which is the third federal position in Nigeria has taken a new dimension. Zamfara State Governor and senator-elect, Abdulhaziz Yari now romances the outgoing Senate President, Olubukola Saraki and the Speaker,Yakubu Dogara. This is arising from the fact that the PDP chieftains realised there enormity of the illegal votes gathered by Yari would help them in securing their political future. It should be recalled that Yari aspired for the Senate being a governor and under the auspices of the All Progressives Congress won the senatorial seat election. However, immdeiately after the election was held, Yari’s victory was challenged by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the Appeal Court voided the APC primaries which led to the emergence of Abdulaziz Yari, the state governor.

The appeal was filed by Sen Kabiru Marafa, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Petroleum (Downstream) and 129 others through his counsel, Mr Mike Ozheokome , SAN. Standing as respondents to the case were Kabiru Liman-Danalhaji and 139 others represented by Mr Mahmud Magaji, SAN, as lead counsel.

After the court of appeal has nullifies Yari the leadership of the upper house and lower house, they allowed Yari to attend the induction because of money bags been promised by Yari at all course to be the senate president of the 9th senate. As the law did not permit Imo State governor, Rochas Okoroha to rubbish the image of Nigeria’s nascent but growing democracy, so it will not allow the emergence of Abdulaziz Yari as a Senator because we believe the upper chamber is an avenue to cover up secrets . We also gathered authoritatively that the APC primaries was highly controversial and according to the popular political language, inconclusive. Now, the game plan of Yari in connection with Bukola Saraki and Yakubu Dogara to frustrate electoral rights of Nigerians in the area of chosing the leaders of the 9th National Assembly has been revealed and it will not work because the people are hellbeant on protecting their votes. The senate presidency is currently causing a brouhaha between the North, East and Western parts of the country and this seems to be creating a lot of games by the GLADIATORS.
