Ondo health commissioner, Adegbenro, is dead

Ondo State Commissioner for Health, Dr Wahab Adegbenro, is dead.

It was gathered that the commissioner had been sick for some days before he passed away this morning.

The cause of the commissioner’s death was yet to be ascertained as of the time of filing this report.

It was reported that the state governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, tested positive for the novel coronavirus disease.

The governor, who made the announcement via his verified Twitter handle, said he remained asymptomatic and had gone into self-isolation.
