Renowned payment service bank, MoneyMaster PSB, has again been chosen as payment service partner on the second phase of the ‘Ounje Eko’ Food Discount Market initiated by the Lagos State Government.
The new phase of the subsidized food market is designed to bring reprieve to residents of the state over rising food prices. It is an initiative that makes food items available at a discount of 25 percent.
MoneyMaster PSB is a CBN-licensed provider of innovative digital financial products and services that transform lives and contribute to sustainable living. MoneyMaster has been instrumental in providing financial technology services to bridge the gap between the banked, underbanked and unbanked populace.
The inclusion of MoneyMaster PSB in the new phase of the Ounje Eko scheme is attributable to its excellent performance in the scheme’s first phase due to its secure, fast transaction processing and robust payment channels.
The second phase of the scheme which started originally in March this year will recommence on Sunday, September 1, across all the 52 Local Government Areas (LGAs), Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs) and in the premises of five tertiary institutions in the state.
MoneyMaster PSB received the nod to deploy its cutting-edge collection solution for seamless transactions at the Ounje Eko discount markets across the state owing to its innovative and robust payment and collection technology infrastructure.
It is expected to again deploy its cutting-edge payment solution to facilitate seamless payment and reconciliation to ease the experience of customers and vendors in the markets and provide real time value to payment destinations.
Said MoneyMaster PSB: “We are excited to partner with the Lagos State Government in the second phase of the Ounje Eko discount markets as this programme aligns with our corporate philosophy of adding value to people’s lives.”
