Glo Repackages Borrow Me Credit Service, Boosts Customer Connectivity
Globacom has repackaged its popular Borrow Me Credit service, reinforcing its commitment to keeping subscribers connected even when they run out of airtime or data.
In a statement issued in Lagos, the company announced improvements to the service designed to make emergency airtime and data access easier for millions of prepaid customers nationwide. The revised framework simplifies eligibility requirements, enabling more subscribers to benefit from instant connectivity whenever they face low or exhausted balances.
As part of the upgrade, Globacom has introduced new features that allow customers to Borrow Special Data as well as Borrow Airtime/Data for Others. These additions enable subscribers to extend support to family members, friends, and colleagues who may need urgent access to communication services but are unable to recharge immediately.
“Whether it is an urgent business call, a late-night research project, or staying in touch with loved ones during an emergency, Glo’s “Borrow Me Credit” ensures that a low balance never results in a zero-communication experience”, Globacom stated.
The company noted that subscribers can access a variety of airtime and data options, with available denominations ranging from as low as N25 to as much as N4,000, providing flexibility to suit different communication and data needs.
Globacom further explained that borrowing limits are determined by customer engagement and usage patterns on the network. Customers who maintain active usage profiles enjoy access to higher credit limits and larger data allocations.
The company emphasized that the tiered structure of the service rewards customer loyalty while ensuring sustainability. As subscribers continue to engage with the network, they gain access to progressively higher borrowing thresholds, helping them maintain seamless connectivity and support their evolving digital lifestyles.
Eligible prepaid customers can access the service by dialing *303# and selecting their preferred airtime or data option. Additional information on eligibility requirements, borrowing limits, and applicable service charges is available on the Globacom website.
