NAOSRE hails IGP for prompt investigative order into dehumanising video

The National Association of Online Security Reporters, NAOSRE, has hailed the Inspector General of Police, IGP Mohammed Adamu, on the prompt directive, ordering discreet investigations into circumstances surrounding the dehumanising treatment meted out to a lady by a policeman in a video that currently trends in social media in which a young lady, in hand cuffs, was physically kicked by interrogating officers over an alleged crime.
The association, in a statement signed by it’s president, Oki Samson, said the IG’s prompt directive is an indication of the police preparedness not to run foul of it’s civilized rule of engaging the public in all circumstances.
While taking exception to the unprofessional conducts as seen in the video, the statement further re assured the association’s commitment to objective bridging of the information gap between security agencies.
