PORT HARCOURT – The Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC has continued to work in the interest of the Niger Delta region in the past twenty-five years in line with the mandate of the commission.
The Solar-powered water project at Amavo community in Osisioma Ngwa Local Government Area in Abia State is one of the numerous achievements of the commission in the 25 years of existence.
This transformative initiative the NDDC said has addressed the community’s immediate and long-term needs.
It also promotes health, economic development, and environmental sustainability while improving residents’ overall quality of life.
This project is essential for rural development and aligns with global goals for clean water and sustainable energy (SDGs 6 and 7).
