BUHARI/OSINBAJO MANDATE GROUP APPOINTS TOP JOURNALIST, TADE ASFAT INTO ITS EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE
Buhari/Osinbajo Mandate Group has appointed Publisher, The Message Magazine, Tade Asfat into its executive committee as Assistant Secretary, Lagos Chapter. Asfat is also a former editor of Encomium Magazine.
A one time students union activist- a parliamentarian and vice chairman, Welfare Committee of Students Union Government, University of Lagos.
As a national activist- a key player in the actualisation of June 12 mandate and return of Nigeria to Democratic rule, a coordinator and founder of National Youth Movement for Democracy, Justice and Good Governance.
As a media practitioner- won many awards home and abroad:Kultural Media Ambassador for Africa(KAMA), courtesy of Kultural Heritage consult, Germany, Exceptional Icon Award winner, three times best editor of the year and more. Married to Hajia Zainab Aanuoluwapo-nee-Fawehinmi and blessed with lovely kids.
I accepted the offer to campaign for Buhari after due consultation and on account of the fact that I strongly believe in the greatness of Nigeria and the redefined culture of governance as being entrenched in the present administration.
The appointment was approved by the national body of Buhari/ Osinbajo Mandate Group(BOMG) in Abuja and confirmed by its national secretary, Mr Kayode Salako a couple of days back at the inaugural meeting of its Lagos state chapter held in Ikeja, Lagos
